Customer Service with a Smile = D

After going through a drive thru today, I am thinking a great deal about customer service or lack there of... I can not for the life of me understand why some people choose to work with the public, and dont get me wrong I am not talking about anything crazy like asking if we would like napkins, I mean just the most general of manners that our Momma's teach us by the time we are five. A simple smile or thank you goes such a long way... Let me close by saying I am so grateful for the opportunity to be doing what I am doing, and I hope each person that comes thru my door feels as welcome as if they were visiting a friend.

So I had a customer come in my shop to day and tell me of another local thrift shop that she had just left, there was a dress that she loved and looked at the price tag and was shocked to see $40. This baffles me, even a high end dress that has been used should NOT be that much, especially in a thrift shop. I feel that kind of pricing totally negates the point of shopping in a thrift shop... well anywho... just my thought.

retail therapy

I soooooo believe in retail therapy. All it takes is a small trinket sometimes to brighten  my whole day. As a mom of three and on an extremely tight budget, I truly LOVE a good find that makes me happy but doesnt give me guilt. I hope I can offer a little of that to you all!
